During the elections there was a lot of talk about what USA was ready for. Could they handle a black president? or a female president? and really could they handle either? I found it extremely interesting how clear it was that USA could not allow a female president. All i can wonder is why? I just don't get it. But apperntly they think that once a month Hillary would pms and declare war on some country for no reason. (I dont see that being any different than Bush's time as president).

I predicted Obama. I like this campaign - good find; obviously it's not about whether or not Hillary, in particular, would be paid less were she elected, but it's a fun way to draw attention to the wage gap.

It would be interesting to see what they were paid, or the difference between say Hillary and a male in her position. This is a good way to bring attention to the wage gap, although its hard to say how true it would have been if she had made it to president.

One thing I found really interesting about this election was how women were used as a tool for conservative means. For John McCain, having Sarah Palin as VP was mean to attract disgruntled feminists and Hillary supporters. However, Palin's platform was anti-abortion, pro-family, and very anti-woman (at lease in my opinion). I think that Republican's really underestimated female voters.
